Following the COVID-19 rules, Mura Kosker Sorority has ceased all travel to mainland Australia and outer island communities, however support is still available through phone, email and on the ground Outreach Workers in some communities.
Mura Kosker Sorority Board President Mrs Regina Turner stated that the organisation is taking every precautionary measure to ensure the health and safety of its employees, clients and the Zenadth Kes community.

“We are contacting all of our clients to explain procedures moving forward and to ensure that they are supported throughout this period,” said Mrs Turner.

In addition to ceasing travel, Mura Kosker Sorority have also postponed their eagerly awaited International Women’s Day Luncheon and Awards, originally scheduled for the 27th of March 2020.

“Internally, we are following all guidelines and rules administered by the Queensland Government and Queensland Health, including social distancing and crowding restrictions. Hence, the need to postpone our event,” said Mrs Turner.

Whether it’s to talk through any anxiety that you or your family may be feeling or if you need help accessing financial support, we can help families navigate through these uncharted waters,” explained Mrs Turner.
